Post by Scammed not,

855-245-1519 These a-hole scammers will stop at nothing to track down their next mark - "Our office has received paperwork naming you a defendant concerning a transaction here with your local bank - -civil action - -" etc, etc -  First of all I have no local bank, I bank online -  Second of all, I get this same call once a week from Samantha, then Tanya, then Julie, then Christine, blah blah blah - -so go ahead and serve me with papers, ladies I'm patiently waiting for the sherriff to show up  Such crap -

Post by Laughing,

8552451519 Thank you for all the information and comments -  I received a call from someone with last name Curry, and she said she was from a law firm, yet she COULD NOT tell me the name of the law firm -  Scum of the Earth and they will have their judgement day -  I just blocked the number -  I am certain they will try from another number, but I just keep blocking -  I think it is sad that these uneducated people cannot find anything else to do with their lives, this is it -  Just block # and do not ever give out any information, and always request paperwork -  Take Care all  :)

855-245-1519 Don't worry, this is a scam -  Good thing you cancelled your bank card -  Report them to your local police, FBI, attorney general and the FCC -  Hint:  if you ask for thir mailing address and they refuse, that's your verification that they are fraudulent -

Post by John s,

855-245-1519 If you are a victim of identity theft, you are not responsible for loans taken out by thieves in your name -  I hope you did make a police report to this effect -  You may also want to contact the three credit bureaus and put fraud alerts on your files - Experian, Equifax and TransUnion -  It would probably also be a good idea to look into getting some identity theft protection as well -The FTC site also has lots of good information - www -consumer -ftc -gov features feature--identity-theft - I hope things get better for you -BTW, these callers are scammers anyway - they refuse to identify themselves, refuse to mail (per federal law) proof of debt allegedly owed to them - so block their number -
