832-769-4719 Obviously they are debt collectors and are attempting to collect a debt - -whether it is an old one or a recent one - -if it's an old one; them ignore them because the statute of limitations is run out and they purchased the debt for pennies on the dollar and then will try to scare you in to paying it -  If they continue to call, then block the number -  If it is that bothersome, then file a complaint with the BBB and or hire an attorney but never ever talk to them because they will throw [***] at you that you don't expect and will catch you off guard to where you give them information they can use to continue to harass you or your family -  The people are ruthless and don't care about your rights -  All they want is to make money off a debt that you don't owe them because the original creditor wrote it off as a bad debt then took a tax deduction for doing so -  The original creditor is the one you owe and they are not going to sue you at this point -  If you get letters from a collection agency, pay very close attention to where it is mailed from -  If it comes from out of state, which most do, then ignore it because you can't be sued by an out of state collection agency and if it looks like it came from attorney's office, most of them are collection agencies pretending or appearing to look like attorney's to scare you in to paying -  A legitimate attorney will send you legal papers about a pending lawsuit if he can and or intends to sue you and will also advise you to get a lawyer if you don't already have one -  He will not just send you letter demanding payment -  By law, all debt collectors have to tell you that they are a debt collector and any information obtained will be used for that purpose -  They also have to put that statement on any letters that they send you -  Debt collectors will also try to get you to set up payment arrangements with them, unless you intend to pay the debt, do not agree to that or send them any money because once you do that, then you are agreeing that you owe the debt and a new statute of limitation will start and if you stop paying, then they can sue you -  If they try to file on your credit report, deny that you owe them the debt -  They will have to provide proof that you do and buy a debt from an old creditor is not proof that you owe them -  The creditor bureaus will have to take it off your report as long as you haven't sent that collection agency any money and you deny that you owe debt -  That puts the burden of proof on them -  Hope you can see where I’m coming from with all of this -  I have been through it and I know how this game works -  You have rights and more power to fight them but they count on the fact that you don't know what your rights are and they try to guilt you in to paying -  Whether you choose to pay or not is entirely up  to you and conscience but don't let them break the law by using illegal tack ticks that scare you in to paying a debt the they really don't have to right to collect on -  Good Luck
